@article{Watterott,
abstract = {Watterott electronic is an electronics company specializing in open hardware, DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and development components.
The company was founded in March 2008 by Stephan Watterott as a sole proprietorship in Hausen (Thuringia, Germany). The aim was to offer its own microcontroller boards and special development components that are difficult to obtain. In the first few months, around 20 m² of space was sufficient for office, production, storage and shipping. Little by little, the product range grew and so did the shipping volume. In mid-2010 there was no longer enough space and the move to a new location in Leinefelde took place at the end of the year and after major renovations. Since then, the range has continued to grow and the company’s own production facilities at the Leinefelde location are constantly being expanded.},
